Disaster Management Workshop - Anguilla

Geographic Systems LLC conducted a training workshop on using GIS for Disaster Management for the government of Anguilla. The course was arranged by Disaster Manager Elizabeth Klute as part of the preparations for the upcoming 2007 hurricane season.

The course focused on using GIS for Disaster Preparedness, Emergency Response, and Damage Assessment.

The workshop was attended by personnel from the Disaster Management Committee, as well as other government employees who may serve in the National Emergency Operations Center. 4/14/07
