GPS Data Collection for ITS Infrastructure along Florida Turnpike and OOCEA

Geographic Systems LLC has completed GPS data collection of as-built Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure installed by Trans Tech Elecrtic LP along sections of toll roads owned by Florida Turnpike and the Orlando Orange County Expressway Authority (OOCEA).

The ITS infrastructure consisted of Dynamic Message Signs and Data Collection Sensors, as well as the supporting underground fiber optic and power cable lines.

The features and attributes were maintained in Geodatabase format, and validated with topology checks to ensure connectivity. The Geodatabase deliverable supplemented the as-built drawings required for contract completion. 2/1/09
